Glass curtain wall protective film

The curtain wall may be damaged during transportation to the site, during installation, and during remaining construction work after installation. 

Manufacturers can use a variety of methods to protect aluminum Windows and mullions from transportation damage. 

Glass curtain wall protective film can be attached to metal surfaces to act as protective barriers between stacked wall units. 2.5 to 4.0 inch reinforced cardboard edge protectors can be attached to all edges of the device for transportation. 

Using Glass curtain wall protective film can protect curtain wall glass from scratches during transportation. 

Upon arrival at the construction site, plastic walls can be constructed using corrugated plastic panels using tape and 4 'x 8' panels in front of the curtain wall. These temporary plastic walls are light enough to use a commercial cleaner to remove dust and debris if needed. 

In addition to the walls, a 4-inch wide window mullion protector can be used to further protect the aluminum mullions.
